I am a YA author with a love for beautiful sentences, Southern voices, and old forests. I write contemporary fantasies about murder, music, and magic. My stories often feature queer girls and complex sibling relationships. My debut YA contemporary fantasy, GHOST WOOD SONG, will be published by HarperTeen in summer 2020.
I grew up in the pine woods of rural Florida but now reside in Nashville, TN, where I have learned to love bluegrass music and have even started learning banjo. I have a Master’s degree in English and tutor at a small liberal arts college.
When I don’t have my nose in a book, you’ll find me hanging out with my dogs Nutmeg and Luna, drinking tea, or wasting time on Twitter.
